While some families take the upcoming holiday season seriously and fanatically, in our house it's all about Halloween. Decorations for the house include skeletons, orange lights, tombstones and cobwebs, talking heads and scary music. And Raine, being our in-house aficionado for all things scary, was in charge. This year not only did she decorate the house, she also baked and decorated dozens of cookies in Halloween motifs. Last night, she and her buds dressed up and scared the bejezus out of the neighborhood kids coming to our front door. And the neighborhood kids loved it.
